JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – AN aspiring musician stands a chance to win R6 000 and a recording deal courtesy from a music stable empowering up-and-coming musicians.

Hard-Time Productions, based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, is offering the opportunity through its “The Next Star” talent show where young musicians get a chance to showcase their musical abilities.

In addition to the cash prize and recording deal, the offer comes with an international distribution deal and television exposure.

“We want to give back to the community and create opportunities for all the young hustlers out there that want to make a mark in the music industry,” Mbuso Masuku, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hard-Time productions says.

The talent show, set for October 1, will host a diverse sound of music and caters to each and every genre.

“It is also very easy to enter,” says Masuku.

Aspirants can register at Hard-Time production offices where they will be required to submit their demo either physically or electronically.

They will receive an SMS notification to confirm the date and time for the talent show.

Groups are also allowed to enter.

Only musical acts are eligible. No dance, poetry or any other act will be registered.
